UMHDI-HS-GrimoN16-Bayfield Grown by Hausers Superior View Farm in Bayfield, WI. The seed for these plants was harvested from the top plants at the Spooner Ag Research Station, in Spooner, WI. Expect considerable diversity in yield, nut size, plant size, and resistance to Eastern Filbert Blight. These plants are a great option for wildlife plantings, hobby nut production, establishing breeding plots, or as pollinator rows in your commercial planting. Available for pick-up in Bayfield starting September 10 or shipped to your farm for an additional cost. The plants are 2'-3' tall and grown in 1-quart Proptek-28 pots for air pruning. Plants should be planted between September 15 and October 1 and a tree protector tube used to protect the plant over the first winter.
