Early-Adopter Commercial Partners

New crops face a number of pitfalls that can delay (or even derail) successful establishment and growth of the industry. One of those pitfalls is lack of efficient supply chains and scale caused by a wide disbursement of small growers operating independently from one another. When growers are geographically clustered and working together, both they and their industry are far more likely to be succeed.

To help facilitate the clustering and networking, we work with Early-Adopter Commercial Partners to recruit and train growers, help establish plantings, develop supply chain infrastructure like shared harvesters and de-huskers, and aggregate production to access and build markets. In exchange for helping build the early industry, Partners have priority in purchasing UMHDI cultivars and providing them to their member growers. Early-Adopter Commercial Partners include but are not limited to: grower associations, non-profit organizations serving growers, for-profit entities, or informal geographic clusters of growers. Interested in becoming an Early-Adopter Commercial Partner?  Download, complete, and send us your application.  Are you a grower interested in joining a Partner organization?
